Aviation Summer Camp, July 9-13, 2007 - The League held its first Aviation Summer Camp for high school students. Camp included ground school courses, hands-on aircraft construction, Virtual Air Traffic Control Simulation (VATSIM), Flight Simulation, and an introductory flight with a certified flight instructor. The Aviation Camp was such a success that 3 more camps are scheduled for next summer!

Channel 3 Weather Anchor, April Warnecke, interviews 5th graders as they try out our Flight Simulator.
5th Grade Field Trip, May 9th, 2007 - The League hosted Sureno Elementary 5th Graders on a Field Trip to learn about careers in aviation and meteorology. Channel 3 News sent their Weather Anchor, April Warnecke, to give a talk on weather, and do a live weather broadcast!
